The Andorran Office of Motor Insurance Entities (Andorran Bureau) is a non-profit organization representing all insurance companies offering motor insurance in the Principality of Andorra, under the supervision of the Andorran Financial Authority (AFA).
It brings together all motor insurance companies based in Andorra (Andorran companies and foreign insurance entities with branches in Andorra).
Currently, the Andorran Bureau has 10 member insurance entities and was created in 1993 (Official Bulletin of the Principality of Andorra No. 64, Year 5, of 29 November 1993) as part of the international Green Card System to facilitate international road traffic and the settlement of motor insurance claims. On 1 July 1996, it joined the Council of Bureaux (COB), based in Brussels. The COB currently includes 46 National Bureaux, representing 1,500 motor insurers across 50 countries in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.
